Dress shopping, studying, and advice columns.

• Let's start with my dress shopping, shall we? I purchased both my prom and winter royalty dress this past weekend and I can say nothing other than I am completely please with what I bought. My winter royalty dress is black lace with floral flowers along the hem and a zipper along it. I think it's the only dress I'm completely okay with wearing some sort of tights with. It's adorable and affordable and I'm glad that I found it when I did; which I must add that I wont care if I'm not the only one there wearing it. I bought it in town so a few other people might, but I'm hoping not. Either way, if someone else has it I know that they'll look gorgeous in it just like it's done me justice. As for my prom dress, it's ravishing. My father bought me it and I'm glad to say that I found it within my price limmit for this year's prom. It didn't cost us an arm and a leg and it fits perfectly! (now I just have to make sure I maintain my figure until April... c:) It's strapless and a metalic blueish-purpleish-silver. It's tighter until you reach the bottom of it and it's almost like a mermaid ripple effect; it's beautiful, really. Although, I can't lie and say that I cannot wait until next year where I get to buy myself a purple dress! (this year I had to bargain with my girlfriend and get a color to match her red tux. So next year she has to do the same thing for me.)
• Now onto studying... well, I've been doing a lot of it lately. I saw my grades two weeks ago and was completely ashamed of how low I had let them become. So since then I have been studying and making sure to put 110% into every assignment that I get. Thank goodness I did do that, because now all of my grades are at least an 86 or higher. I think I have all A's other than 2 classes, which they are high B's and I could not be more proud of myself. Now all I have to do is keep this rate up...
• And finally my advice column; with not so much to say. Ms. Rowse assigned us with an advice column today where we're supposed to help people in our class with our advice on something and then write letters to people in our groups so that they can write us back and help us with our problems. I like this assignment, to be honest. I think she assigned something that means a lot more than just "create a story with your inspiration" and it's more towards a helpful cause and I find that very admirable of Rowse to have us do for her class. I haven't completely made up my mind as to what my column will be about, but hopefully my brainstorming will eventually help me pan this one out.
